Service was great as well as the food.

Great Hotel, its small and because of that has a great vibe and i would stay here again. The rooms all are clean and tastefully decorated. We stayed with 6 couples as we were in town for wedding, not all rooms have showers but they have large victorian tubs, just ask. The kitchen area has a home like feel with coffee, juice and water and light breakfast. This hotel is not for you if cannot manage two flights of stairs and if you can it's a gem, a Victorian oasis in a sea of chain / box type hotels.

We just stopped for a late lunch in the service was really good and the food was refreshing.

Had a lovely shopping day in downtown Strathroy and lunch at the Clocktower. My girlfriend is picky about her wine and Jayden accomodated her beautifully! Service was amazing and the mushroom bake was back (temporarily)! Thanks again to Jayden for the excellent service and thanks to Chef for mushroom bake. Thanks to my friend for picking up the cheque:)

Good food

The restaurant is lovely and rustic inside and out. We were inside (due to rain) but it was almost like watching the rain from your covered porch. The food was exceptional; I had the Friday fish special and my partner had the duck pizza. Wait staff was amazing. Would definitely recommend the restaurant as the best in Strathroy, come even if you aren't a hotel guest! I have stayed in the hotel on a separate occasion and the rooms are similarly quaint and old-fashioned.

Homey, old-fashioned elegance. I loved the Clock Tower Inn and would like to stay there again. The owner and the staff were friendly and relaxed. The air conditioning was powerful and quiet, better than the Best Western. The soups in the restaurant were fabulous; I would get take out there all the time if I lived close by. Nice location in the centre of quiet Strathroy.

Stopped in for a meal and the food was exceptional. The staff was beyond amazing.

We arrived around 15 minutes before nine o'clock pm, and the lady who checked us in was polite and great. We went up to our room, but was surprised at the bubbling carpet along the stairs. It should be noted that this hotel is NOT accessibility-friendly. They also use the European system of naming floors (aka, ground floor is floor 0, second floor is Floor 1, etc). So when we were told our room was on the second floor, it was actually on the third. We stayed in the Princess of Wales Suite, which looked exactly as the pictures show. However, the bed was uncomfortable, and could do with either a thick mattress topper or a new mattress entirely; my wife and I did not sleep well, even with the influence of alcohol. In addition, the rooms don't seem secure. The room is locked with a similar push button system system to that of a bathroom door. There are no more extra locks to make you feel secure (no chain lock or door bolt). We had to put the desk chair against the door to feel like we had a modicum more security. I was excited to take a bath in the clawfoot tub; we have an apartment with only a shower in it, so having hotel rooms with bathtubs is a touch of luxury for me. I went to fill the tub, and the water never turned hot. I was confused, but my wife used to live in an old house and told me to wait a bit since we were on the third floor. Five minutes later with the water running, and it still wasn't hot. Then my wife comes up with the idea to see if the sink had hot water. We turned on the sink's hot tap and a few seconds after running that, both the sink and tub faucet water grew warm. Hurray! A warm bath. I turn the sink faucet off, but then I'm met with the grim reality that the bath faucet will only remain warm if the sink faucet is also running hot water. What a waste! Nevertheless, I'm determined to have my bath after a long day of travelling. I do get my bath, and the bath is comfortable and lovely, but the initial set-up was janky and at the very, very least deserves instructions for guests. This hotel has a lot of charm, but it needs some improvements to really make it a great stay. The charm quickly wears off once you, as a guest, meets these internal issues. In a way, it's get-what-you-pay-for, but that doesn't negate that there are definite changes that can be made for the better here. What I will say is that the rooms were tidy and clean, with no worries of bed bugs or any similar hygeine issues that come with similarly priced motels.

I love this place & have been multiple times for dinner or lunch. Food is always delicious & I love the variety. I'm a big fan of the dill pickle pizza & harvest veggie pizza. Good variety of drinks too! Staff are always top notch with friendliness and service!

Great service and atmosphere! Crab cakes were amazing! Buttermilk chicken Sammy was good. Was not a huge fan of the Caesar salad.
