My wife and I stayed in Strathroy for a few days last month. We checked in and were shown to our suite. The soaker tub was great and the room was cozy yet didn't feel small. i had some work with me and setup my computer at the desk overlooking the streets below.
The weather wasn't the greatest so we ended up staying in most of the time and I appreciated the coffee maker and fridge supplies which were right outside out suite. The cleaning was always done, we had our linens changed and were asked personally by both the cleaning staff and the manager if everything was to our satisfaction (that doesn't happen everywhere we stay!)
We didn't get a chance to go into the actual Clocktower itself, but the building is a grand old thing from an glorious era.
I will say we really enjoyed the meals in the adjoining restaurant & pub. I would recommend any of the curry's.
I would recommend you do not park on the street but behind the pub as there are only 2 hour spots available.
All in all a nice town, a great getaway and some nice staff working the place.
